Character Information
Name: Enmei Shuichi.
Age: 23
Date of Birth: February 3rd
Gender: Male
Country of Birth: Japan
Appearance:
Spoiler:

Personality: Analytical, unforgiving, and ambitious. Enmei Shuichi is a man that the world chewed up and spat out, cursed by a series of events that shifted him into the man he is now. Once a young and aspiring hero, he gave up the crime-fighting life when his girlfriend was killed in the crossfire between another hero and a villain's battle, a completely random killing that could have been prevented. Giving up the cape, he has now taken up the cloak and dagger as the mastermind behind "NOX", a "criminal" organization bent on holding bringing justice through violence, deception, and sabotage. Enmei is the perfect leader for the NOX, being both charasmatic and driven enough to make the organization's goals happen. Enmei is incredibly intelligent, sometimes too much for his own good, often overthinking his plans, or trying to find the "lines inbetween" as opposed to the message in front of him.

History: Born to two quirkless parents, Enmei's quirk actually manifested shortly after his birth. His mother thought she was going crazy at first, as random items throughout the house would often float momentarily before falling back into place. It wasn't until Enmei started levitating the dog that his parents realized it wasn't a ghost or phantom, but their son. Making sure to try and keep him in check, as soon as he was old enough to get into a hero school, they applied, and he got in. In UA, Enmei was a prime student. He made all the right moves, aced all of his tests, and eventually was placed in a Hero Agency with none other than his favorite Hero, Sunset. Interning under Sunset, he learned to play both sides of the law, and was introduced to the criminal underground. Sunset wasn't a famous hero, instead opting to work behind the scenes and undercover, Sunset's ability being able to copy the physical features of anyone he has met, as long as his body was kept in the dark. He taught Enmei everything he knew, and even bestowed him his hero name: Phantom

Enmei and Sunset continued working together, Enmei eventually being introduced to Sunset's daughter, Hanna Emiya, another pro-hero. She had been a year younger than Enmei, and had actually looked up to him while she herself was becoming a hero, the two meeting seeming to feel like a thing of destiny. They even teamed up and would often fight together, combining their abilities for full control over the battlefield. Hanna's quirk allowed her to control her opponent's mind and make them see illusions, which worked well with Enmei's own quirk.

A year after Enmei became a Pro-hero, however, Hanna died. A freak accident that shouldn't have happened, she just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Another pro-hero named Ascension was battling a man with a flame quirk, in the streets of Osaka. It happened so quickly, at first Enmei hadn't even realized what had happened. They had been eating at a restaurant when Hanna had stepped outside to make a phone call. A few streets down, Ascension and the villain began their fight, with Ascension throwing the man down the street using his Aura powers. The flame quirk user hit his head and became concussed, and without meaning to, released all of his flames at once in every direction, and incinerated anything and everything that had been in the street, including Hanna. This threw Enmei into an unbridled rage, causing him to strangle the concussed Flame quirk user, and then brought his rage to Ascencion, and snapped his spine using Telekinesis in a very quick fight. The media outlets raged over this, despite Enmei's quick growth as a hero and UA quickly moved in. They recognized that Enmei was technically in self-defense against the Flame quirk user, and while killing him was looked down upon, he technically was in the right. However, for Ascension, his actions for unforgiveable. At first, they wanted to lock Enmei up for what they did, as Ascencion was also an up and coming hero, and due to how he broke the man's spine, there was no route for recovery. But, the rest of his record was clear and the public saw him stopping the flame quirk user as a "good" thing, so instead of locking him up, Enmei was stripped of his hero status.

Enmei then fell into a dark depression. Sunset refused to speak to him, blaming him for his daughter's death, and blaming himself for Enmei's actions. Shortly after Hanna's death, Sunset stopped hero work as well, fading into nothing. But Enmei wouldn't fade so easily. He still had lots of fighting spirit left in him. Cursing the Hero world, he figured he would just do things his own way from now on, becoming a vigilante who would stop hero and villain alike. He founded NOX, enlisting some of his black market contacts, and got to work. He also founded a detective agency that acts as a front for NOX, often passing leads on to his cohorts.

Quirk Information
Quirk Name:
Type: Emitter
Description: This Quirk is considered well-rounded, as it could be used in an offensive, defensive, or supportive role. The most basic use of this Quirk involved the manipulation and movement of nearby small to medium-sized items. Basic techniques include telekinetically binding or restraining a target, pushing or pulling a target, and levitation.
Small to medium-sized objects can be influenced fairly easily. Larger objects and moving objects can be influenced as well, requiring a higher application of mental fortitude and concentration to override the effects of mass, momentum, and gravity. Like exerting oneself physically, it was dangerous to use this Quirk on large objects without proper precaution. Migraines and nosebleeds were common side-effects of using this Quirk.

Range: Up to 50 meters
Weaknesses: Weight limit, can't lift anything over 300lbs, but each post of preparation doubles the weight limit, to a max of x4. Lifting anything over limit causes migranes and nosebleeds, which is translated as an impairment to intelligence and unable to use the Analysis ability for posts equalling to how many were prepared above the limit.
Base Cost: 5. Uses Power Duration Rules.
Total Levels: 5

  • Level 1: The user begins at this level, allowing them to lift 300 lbs combined weight. Can levitate up to 3 items simultaneously.
  • Level 2:  The user's weight limit is increased to 500 lbs, can now use their telekinesis to levitate. Can levitate up to 5 items simultaneously
  • Level 3:  The user's weight limit is increased to 700 lbs, can now levitate up to 7 items simultaneously
  • Level 4:  The user's weight limit is increased to 900 lbs, can now levitate up to 9 items simultaneously,
