Personality: Three words to describe Lily might be tenacious, vivacious, and audacious. Ever since she was young, she has been bubbly and hyper, but also quick-witted and strong-willed. Her parents likened her to a hurricane, which was also somewhat of a joke and a hope since her father was an emitter hero who controlled wind blasts. She was always quick to make a new friend, and just as quick to defend that friend to the end or be the first girl raising her hand in class for every question. Lily likes to suck the marrow from every second of life so to speak, living every moment to its fullest and being constantly on the go. She loves a good challenge and will sometimes seek out things or fights that are more than she can handle just to prove herself. A notable thing about Lily is she is very passionate about Quirks, and her Quirk in particular. She loves everything having to do with being a hero and heroes, and especially studying how Quirks work. She is quite studious and did very well in school, even going on to graduate school and is hoping to get a Ph.D. someday studying the science of Quirks. She gets overexcited about science and anything related to Quirks and Heroes and can become kind of manic when talking about them.

History: Lily was born in England to an English father and a Russian mother and was the youngest of three siblings. Her father was a popular English Hero who had retired by the time Lily was born. Her mother was a diplomat who was rescued at one point by her father and yada yada they fell in love. Lily had a happy childhood, and from an early age, she was imbued with the desire of becoming a famous hero just like her father, whom she was very close to. When she was very young she was focused primarily on Quirks, and then she entered school. Discovering the world of academia was just as eye-opening as learning about the world of Heroes, and Lily fell in love with it just as much. Nothing made her swell with pride more than showering her parents her excellent marks and skipping grades ahead in school. She was still in elementary when her family moved to Japan for her father to take a job on the board of a company that recruited Heroes and paid them for their crime-fighting work. While the transition was somewhat difficult on the non-Japanese speaking Samuels siblings, enrolling them in a dual language school helped them adapt easily. Lily, of course, was one of the quickest of her family to make new friends and find her place in the world.

She herself went to the U.A. school and graduated with flying colors. For the next few years of her life, she would work as a professional Hero hired by her father’s company. Her name and fame grew quickly under their influence, but there was a nagging feeling in her heart. At some point, she desired to combine her love of Hero work and academia and go back to school, working her way through a bachelor’s and a master’s in science and Qurik studies. During her hero work she also met a man she thought she would marry someday and they got engaged, but through some long and heartbreaking plot I don't feel like writing right now their paths diverged. A hard point in her life was also the loss of her father from old age - she took this hard, considering how close they were. At one point, a fight with a villain dismembered her hand, so now she has a metal hand that functions almost as well as a normal hand in its place (this is part of the long heartbreaking plot involving her ex and her father). She was hired at the U.A. two years ago where she works as a science teacher, and she finds it the most fulfilling work she has ever done.
